Advance Horsemanship Day Camp

Service Description

Drop off time 10am Pick up time 4pm This camp is an introduction to Horsemanship in a fun, confidence building, & safe way. It is suitable for campers who have been around horses but want to be challenge with handling a yearling horse along with a lesson horse. They will learn in a teamwork atmosphere to care for their camp horse. Along with learning about handling and communicating with a horse. Campers will also do crafts, games, and horse theory. This camp requires riders to have at least 2-3 years riding experience and to be able to ride without a handler. Campers Mus Supply: All riders are required to wear a helmet designed for equine activities which is equipped with a safety chin strap. (Bike helmets are no longer allowed due to our insurance policy. PLHDR has limited supply of helmets however we encourage you to purchase your own helmet.) Covered footwear with a heel. No running shoes for riding time. Cancellation Policy

For Wagon and Sleigh Rides: To reschedule please contact us 24 hours before day of booking. All deposits are fully refundable. Please contact us in regards to refunds. For Camps: Camp fees are refundable up to one month prior to the start of camp less $100 which is considered the deposit. Camp fees up to seven days prior to the start of camp are refundable if the spot can be filled less $100 deposit. Camp fees are non-refundable within less than seven days prior to the start of camp.
