Horsemanship Day Camps 2024

Drop Off Time: 10am Pick Up Time 4pm

Cost of Camp $280 + GST {$14} = $294

These camps are an introduction to Horsemanship in a fun, confidence building, & safe way.

PLHDR provides 5 camps during the months of July & August. These day programs are suitable for campers who have never been around horses to campers who are looking for more challenges to broaden their Horsemanship skills. They will learn in a teamwork atmosphere to care for their camp horse. Along with learning about handling and communicating with a horse. Campers will also do crafts, games, and horse theory.

 

Camp Dates for 2024 Season

Beginner Horsemanship Camp Ages 7 - 10 years old July 8-11

Level 2 Horsemanship Camp Ages 7-10 years old July 15-18

Advance Horsemanship Camp Ages 13-17 years old July 22-25

Beginner Horsemanship Camp Ages 11-15 years old August 12-15

Level 2 Horsemanship Camp Ages 11-15 years old August 19-22

 

Campers Must Supply:

* All riders are required to wear a helmet designed for equine activities which is equipped with a safety chin strap (Bike Helmets are no longer allowed due to our insurance policy. PLHDR has a limited supply of helmets.)

* Covered Footwear with a heel. No running shoes for riding time.

* Bag lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, mosquito spray.

* Please provide a list of meds if needed
