Service Description
Drop off time 9am Pick up time 3pm This camp is Horsemanship in a fun, confidence building, & safe way. It is suitable for campers who have been around horses in private lessons, have a lot of experience with horses, or been in the Level 2 Camp for a minimum of 2 years and want the opportunity to ride multiple horses in camp. They will learn in a teamwork atmosphere to care for their camp horse. Along with learning about handling and communicating with a horse. Campers will also do crafts, games, and horse theory. This camp requires riders to have riding experience, to be able to saddle & ride without a handler, and willing to ride a different horse each day. Campers Mus Supply: All riders are required to wear a helmet designed for equine activities which is equipped with a safety chin strap. (Bike helmets are no longer allowed due to our insurance policy. PLHDR has limited supply of helmets however we encourage you to purchase your own helmet.) Covered footwear with a heel. No running shoes for riding time. Cancellation Policy
Camp fees are due in full by April 1, 2026 . Payment can be made by e-transfer to plhdrs@gmail.com. Please list the date of the camp and your camper’s name in the comment section of the e-transfer. Camp fees are refundable up to 30 days prior to the start of your camp, less $100 which is considered the deposit. Camp fees up to seven days prior to the start of your camp are refundable if the spot can be filled less $100 which is considered the deposit. Camp fees are non-refundable within less than seven days prior to the start of your camp.
